SPLOST 2016

On November 4, 2014 a referendum on a six-year SPLOST (Special Local Option Sales Tax) was approved by Cobb County voters. This program will be in effect from January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2022.

Mission Statement

Every project funded by SPLOST will improve the quality of life in the City of Austell by maintaining, improving, and enhancing transportation (new equipment, new sidewalks, and roadway resurfacing), parks, infrastructure, and public safety.

Six year projected sales tax revenues: $6,725,280.00

Transportation: $3,969,828.00 Parks: $1,681,345.00 Public Safety: $1,074,107.00
