2026 Mayors 5k

2026 Mayors 5k

The City of Austell, in partnership with The Cobb County Solicitor’s Office and the Kiwanis Club of Greater South Cobb, will host the Family Friendly Annual Mayors 5k on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. Check-in begins at 8:00am at Louise Suggs Park and the race starts at 9:00am.

Georgia Mortgage Assistance (GMA) Program

The Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) administered through the Georgia Department of Community Affairs’ Georgia Mortgage Assistance (GMA) program. To date, the GMA program has provided hundreds of millions of dollars in relief to nearly 12,000 homeowners who suffered financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic, helping prevent almost 1,600 foreclosures across the state.

Jefferson Street Park

The City of Austell’s newest park is under construction, and we can’t wait for you to enjoy it!
This park will be in the heart of Downtown Austell. Construction kicked off on November 3, 2025.

Important Info:
While the main parking area along Jefferson Street will be closed, the highlighted public parking areas on the attached map will be available during construction.
Don’t worry! We’ll still have a few parallel parking spots available up close for our awesome business patrons.
