Reporting Streetlights
To ensure the safety and visibility of our neighborhoods, the Public Works Department has a simple 4 step process that residents can promptly report malfunctioning and or damaged streetlights.
Step 1: Gather Necessary Information
- Identify the Exact Location of Streetlight - (including the nearest street address, intersection, or identifiable landmark (if available).
- Identify Pole Number (if available) - Many streetlight poles have an identification number located on a metal tag.
- Description of the Issue - e.g., light not turning on, light flickering, light stays on during the daylight hours, physical damage, exposed wiring, etc.
Step 2: Submit Your Report
If you live in one of the Deerfield Subdivisions, your service provider is Greystone

Step 3: Allow Time for Processing and Repair
Repair times may vary based on the nature of the issue and the service provider.
Step 4: Follow Up
If the streetlight has not been repaired within 10 business days, residents may contact the Public Works Department (770-944-4225) to request an update.
